Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer V

Location: Columbus, IN 47201 (Onsite)

Duration: 12+ Months

Pay Rate: $60–$70/hour on W2

Shift Schedule

First 6 months: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Next 6 months: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM
Candidates must be able to work both shifts.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.
Experience with Fanuc HandlingTool or Arc Tool.
Strong understanding of GD&T and the ability to interpret engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end manufacturing process development for assigned projects.
Optimize manufacturing processes and equipment for safety, quality, and productivity.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using standardized manufacturing practices.
Develop and standardize manufacturing methods and best practices.
Coordinate cross-functional teams and external partners to execute project deliverables.
Provide technical leadership and support process improvements across the organization.
Design efficient manufacturing processes, tooling, and workstations.
Apply structured problem-solving and data-driven decision-making to improve quality and reduce costs.
