Serving as the main campus for Atrium Health Floyd, this hospital provides a certified Chest Pain Center, a designated Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence and a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence. Atrium Health Floyd also is home to a state-designated Level II Trauma Center and a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, and has specialty centers for pediatrics, and wound care and hyperbaric therapy.\n Department Information:\n \n Census: Average patients/day: 8-11 Patients per therapist per day.\n Minimum Years of Experience required: Prefer 1 year of relevant experience\n \n Will you accept a first-time traveler: Yes\n Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:\n \n orthopedics, debility, spinal cord, neurological disorders, multi-trauma, fractures, post-op, cardiac\n Required License, National Certification, Certifications (BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Driver's License and/or Insurance:\n \n Licensed in the state of Georgia, BLS\n SLP: Licensed in the state of Georgia, BLS\n Skills required:\n \n Ability to treat above common diagnoses and work independently with minimal oversight.\n SLP: for Modified Barium Swallow test & FEEs assessments\n Support within the Department:\n \n The Rehab department has over 20 Teammates (therapist and aides) working daily with Administration on site.\n Technology/Equipment:\n \n EMR: EPIC\n Department specific Equipment for SLP: FEEs Fiberoptic endoscopic evaluation of swallowing\n Floating: No\n \n Orientation (facility and unit):\n \n NEO\n 3-5 days departmental (depending on relevant experience)\n Scheduling:\n \n Weekend rotation: No\n On call: If so, what is that schedule: No\n Holiday Expectations: No\n RTO Requests: If participating in SimpliFi Clinical Interviewing – can we approve up to 7 days of RTO on your behalf, if traveler extends contract to accommodate: Yes\n Shift times: 5-8 s, 4-10 s (day off chosen by department and will be consistent throughout assignment)\n Schedule cycle (how many weeks): 13\n Other notes:\n \n Scrub Color: Light Grey (Approved list)\n Parking: Free\n Department Culture:\n \n \n #PHYTH1\n \n TalentBurst, Inc Job ID #26-30841.
