Role Description The Business Development Representative – Managed IT & Cybersecurity is a full-time, on-site role based in the New York City Metropolitan Area. This role focuses on identifying and qualifying new business opportunities for Systech MSP’s managed IT, cybersecurity, cloud, and automation services. Day-to-day responsibilities include prospecting and generating leads, conducting outbound calls and emails, managing a sales pipeline, and scheduling discovery meetings and demos for senior sales leaders. The representative collaborates closely with marketing and technical teams to understand client needs, present tailored solutions, and follow up on campaigns and referrals. The role also involves maintaining accurate CRM records, preparing basic proposals, and supporting ongoing relationship-building with prospective clients.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Inside Sales and Lead Generation for prospecting, outreach, and pipeline development.
• Candidates should possess strong Communication skills for clear presentations, client conversations, and collaboration with internal teams.
• Candidates should possess Sales and Business Development skills for opportunity qualification, consultative selling, and revenue growth.
• Experience or strong interest in managed IT services, cybersecurity, and cloud solutions is highly beneficial.
• Ability to work on-site in the New York City Metropolitan Area and travel locally to client locations as needed.
• Comfort using CRM systems, sales enablement tools, and standard productivity software.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed activity and performance targets in a B2B environment.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
