Will float within skills set when needed. Maternal Child Health is responsible for the provision of direct patient care to a designated group of patients within the Maternal Child Health department. This position will work collaboratively with unit leadership to follow the scope of practice for nursing governing bodies that apply to Maternal Child Health (AWONN, ACOG, NNA, AORN). Responsibilities include observation, data collection, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patients' physical, psychological, emotional, educational, and spiritual needs.

Minimum of an Associate of Applied Science in Nursing. Certification in BLS upon hire, ACLS, PALS, and NRP within 6 months of hire.

Preferred with knowledge of post-partum care.

Current NYS RN license.

Repetitive use of hands and fingers (e.g., computer keyboard), light lifting related to patient care, ability to sit, stand, or walk for long periods, and physically operate necessary equipment.
