## **Immediate Need: School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT) x2**
ProCare Therapy is actively seeking **two dedicated Occupational Therapists (OTs)** to support **K–12 students** within a Virginia school district. These are **school-based opportunities for the upcoming school year**, and the district is looking to move quickly to secure strong candidates. If you are passionate about helping students build the skills needed for academic success and daily independence, we encourage you to apply as soon as possible.
### **Position Overview**
The Occupational Therapist will work collaboratively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support students in developing, recovering, and improving the functional skills needed to succeed in the school environment.
### **Key Responsibilities**
* Provide direct and indirect occupational therapy services in accordance with student IEPs
* Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify student needs
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
* Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, related service providers, and families
* Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with district and state requirements
* Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development
* Support students with fine motor, sensory processing, and functional independence needs
### **Qualifications**
* Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
* Active Virginia OT license, or ability to obtain prior to start
* NBCOT certification required
* Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required
* Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
### **Schedule**
* Full-time schedule
* Approx. **37.5 hours per week**
* Follows the school district calendar, including holidays and breaks
