Exciting Float Pool Nursing Opportunity!

Job Description:


- Position Type: Hospital Float Pool Staff
- Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)
- Unit Details:
- Float throughout the hospital, including:
- Emergency Department
- ER Hold
- Medical Surgical
- Telemetry
- Stepdown/PCU


- Staffing and Ratios:
- Flexibility required for scheduling
- Nursing ratios up to 1:7 in Med-Surg


- Schedule:
- Must be flexible to facility scheduling
- No schedule requests will be accommodated


- Weekend Requirements:
- Every Other Weekend Coverage


- Experience Required:
- Minimum of 2 years in nursing
- Previous charge experience preferred
- Travel experience required


- Certifications Needed:
- ACLS
- BLS


- Skills:
- Cardiac Telemetry
- Care of Ventilated Patients
- Central Line Care/Management
- Heparin Protocols
- Dysrhythmia Interpretation
- Management of Cardiac and Vasoactive Drips
- Telemetry Monitoring


- Patient Care Details:
- Focus on adults and geriatrics
- Caring for post-surgical and medical patients


- Orientation and Compliance:
- Must complete onboarding items within 48 hours of contract signing
- Full compliance required to start on time


- Submission Rules:
- RN Licensure: GA or Compact License required at time of submission
- Local Candidates accepted at same rate
