Deprez & Son Inc is looking for a skilled and dependable Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team in Riverside, CA. This is a hands-on role where you'll keep our residential communities running smoothly and ensure residents feel right at home. If you take pride in your craft and love solving problems, we want to hear from you. Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and emergency maintenance repairs across apartment units and common areas
- Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance issues
- Complete unit turns including painting, patching, and general refurbishment between tenants
- Respond promptly to resident maintenance requests and work orders
- Conduct regular property inspections to identify and address potential issues
- Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of grounds, amenities, and building exteriors
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs as needed
- 1+ years of experience in apartment or residential maintenance
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general carpentry
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple work orders efficiently
- Strong communication skills and a resident-friendly, professional demeanor
- Must be reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
