About the Position: This position is at Mississippi State Hospital in Rankin County. The official MSPB classification title is Human Resources Generalist II.This is a second-level human resources professional position responsible for administering agency human resources programs, policies, and procedures. Areas of responsibility may include recruitment and selection, classification, salary analysis, benefits, appointments, performance evaluation, training and development, employee engagement, and employee relations.The incumbent provides consultation and guidance to managers, supervisors, and employees regarding human resources matters, including grievances, investigations, employee relations issues, policy interpretation, and related HR processes. The position may also provide limited supervision or guidance to lower-level human resources staff.
