Staff Product Manager, Recommendations & Discovery

Role Description

We're hiring a Staff Product Manager to own personalization and discovery across Babylist's consumer experience — the homepage feed, product recommendations, and the ML-powered systems that make the registry building journey feel effortless.

• Build on our editorial strength using one of the richest first-party datasets in parenting.
• Define what great looks like for Babylist in terms of ML personalization.
• Be the authority on recommendations and discovery at Babylist.
• Partner closely with our ML Engineering team.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated product leader with meaningful experience in ML-powered consumer products.
• Experience owning a recommendation, personalization, and/or discovery surface end-to-end at scale.
• Experience in Senior PM, Staff PM, GPM, or comparable Lead roles.
• Real B2C ML product depth.
• Real technical fluency with ML systems.
• A builder's instinct for early-stage ML.
• Strategic foresight.
• Deep customer expertise.
• Commercial ownership.
• Clarity of thought.
• AI-native daily practice.
• Adaptability to change.
• Strongly preferred: Background in e-commerce or marketplaces; experience helping build or scale an ML personalization function from scratch.
