Adaptive Acuity Unit Position

This is an adaptive acuity unit! Occasionally, travelers will be asked to provide progressive care unit (PCU) care (3:1 ratio). This care is non-negotiable and may not be refused. Drip experience is required. Must have experience with insulin drips, metoprolol drips, and sodium drips.

Charge is required for this need. Do not upload a traveler without charge or who will not work charge. A 48-hour guarantee is not available for this need.

Requested time off during the course of this assignment must be noted and verified at upload. RTO requests after upload/during interview will not be approved! No more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted (less is better).

Please ensure that all travelers uploaded to needs on my desk note when they can be reached and have voicemail set up on their phones. Travelers without voicemail set up when a facility reaches out will be redirected.

Requirements

• 2+ years of current med surg/tele experience [required]
• CHARGE EXPERIENCE [REQUIRED] - Please note charge experience on profile
• Progressive Care Unit/PCU experience [Strongly REQUIRED]
• DRIP EXPERIENCE IS [REQUIRED]
• ICU experience [strongly preferred]
• Traveler must be willing to float to any inpatient unit within their scope of practice
• Minimum 3 months previous travel experience [REQUIRED] - NON-NEGOTIABLE (more is preferred)
• Small critical access facility experience [preferred]
• Traveler must have their own vehicle for this need
• Perm address must be included in profile
• Any/All RTO must be included in profile. All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission. Facility will not approve scheduling requests at/after time of offer/at interview. Please obtain this information prior to submittal. Requests after offer may lead to rescinded offer
