Sr. Data Analyst100% Remote12+ months ContractProject Scope / Components:Will be supporting multiple different projectsHigh-Level Individual Duties:Work closely with data analysts to transform specification into client algorithms (4 Oracle, 2 Snowflake)Code complex procedures to support new client algorithms (4 Oracle, 2 Snowflake)Contribute to technical documentation of specifications and processesResponsible for weekly data loads and balancing of 9 accounts (6 Oracle, 3 Snowflake)Investigate data anomalies to determine root cause, specify appropriate changes and work with engineering and operations teams as the change is implemented and testedResearch client questions on data results by identifying underlying data elements leveraged and providing descriptions of data transformations involvedWork closely with engineering and operations teams to answer questions and resolve data issues that ariseResponsible for extracting and replicating data into a common data mart.Drive adoption of best practices and agreed upon design patternsCommunicate clearly and effectively in oral and written forms, and be able to present and demonstrate work to technical and non-technical leadershipMust-Haves (Concepts & Tools):10+ years of Oracle Database experience5+ years of advanced PL/SQL and SQL experience5+ years od UNIX command prompt navigation, including VI editor –shell scriptsHealthcare claim data experienceNice-to-Haves (Concepts & Tools):Experience working in a matrixed environment on a fast-paced projectExperience developing within an agile frameworkExperience with SnowflakeExperience with data loading tools (Talend, Informatica, Data Factory, ODI)Exposure to cloud environments experience (Azure)What will set candidates apart?:Experience with Azure Data Factory, Snowflake and ETL of healthcare data.
