Case Manager - Rare Disease- TEPEZZA - Central US- Remote

Amgen seeks a Case Manager for TEPEZZA, a rare disease treatment, based remotely in the Central US. The role involves managing patient access to therapy, coordinating with insurance, specialty pharmacies, and support programs, while maintaining case documentation and resolving reimbursement issues.

Responsibilities

• Oversee patient access issues related to insurance approvals and reauthorizations with regional teams
• Manage all steps required to gain patient access to TEPEZZA therapy with RBMs, PALs, hub, pharmacy, and patients
• Triage and resolve reimbursement obstacles including prior authorizations, denials, appeals, and billing problems
• Maintain comprehensive case histories and track patient status, reimbursement, and shipping for all US patients
• Report weekly on patient status changes, reimbursement trends, and adherence patterns

Requirements

• Master's degree, or Bachelor's degree plus 2 years case management experience
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to manage multiple cases and resolve reimbursement challenges simultaneously
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of HIPAA and FDA regulations
• Ability to coordinate across multiple geographies and time zones

Compensation: $81,851.60–$110,740.40 USD base
