Pay: $20–$30 per hour, based on experience

Position Overview

We are hiring an experienced Residential HVAC Service Technician to join a growing home-services team in West Bend, Wisconsin. This position involves diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing residential heating and cooling systems while providing homeowners with reliable, professional service.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair residential heating, air-conditioning, and ventilation systems
• Perform scheduled maintenance, tune-ups, and complete system inspections
• Identify equipment failures and recommend appropriate solutions
• Repair or replace compressors, motors, thermostats, fans, electrical components, and other HVAC parts
• Test completed work to ensure systems operate safely and efficiently
• Explain system conditions and available repair options clearly to homeowners
• Provide professional and respectful customer service during every appointment
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, materials used, and equipment conditions
• Coordinate with dispatchers and field leadership to complete scheduled service calls
• Follow applicable HVAC codes, safety requirements, and company procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle and work area
• Participate in training to stay current with equipment and industry practices

Qualifications

• Previous residential HVAC service or maintenance experience
• Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and repair skills
• Knowledge of residential heating and cooling equipment
• EPA certification preferred
• Additional HVAC licenses or certifications are a plus
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage daily service appointments
• Ability to work in attics, crawl spaces, confined areas, and varying weather conditions
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
