Pay Rate: $24.00–$26.00 per hour
Employment Type: Temporary-to-Hire
Schedule: Monday–Friday, Day Shift (8am-4:30pm)

Position Summary
The Customer Service Administrator (Order Processing) is responsible for supporting customer accounts through order entry, administrative coordination, and customer service activities. This role serves as a primary point of contact for customers, ensuring timely processing of orders, responding to inquiries, and coordinating with internal teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
Order Processing & Account Support
Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
Review order details for completeness and accuracy.
Maintain customer records and update account information as needed.
Assist with order status inquiries and related documentation.

Customer Service
Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels.
Provide information regarding products, services, pricing, availability, and order fulfillment.
Assist customers in identifying appropriate solutions for their needs.
Resolve routine customer concerns and escalate complex issues when necessary.

Returns & Logistics Coordination
Process return requests and provide necessary documentation.
Assist customers with shipment tracking and delivery inquiries.
Coordinate exchanges, replacements, and other service-related requests.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.

Internal Collaboration
Work closely with various departments to ensure customer requests are handled efficiently.
Communicate updates regarding orders, inventory availability, and customer requirements.
Support cross-functional teams in achieving operational objectives.

Administrative Support
Prepare and maintain customer files, reports, and records.
Assist with data entry and general office administration.
Support special projects and perform additional duties as assigned.

Level of Responsibility
Works under general supervision.
Follows established procedures and guidelines.
Exercises sound judgment within defined responsibilities.
Contributes to overall team objectives through effective customer support and administrative accuracy.

Supervisory Responsibilities
None.

Qualifications

Education
Bachelors degree preferred.
Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.

Experience
One to three years of experience in customer service, order processing, administrative support, or a related office environment preferred.

Comfortable communicating with customers by phone and email throughout the day.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to interact effectively with customers, coworkers, and business partners.

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
High degree of accuracy in order processing, recordkeeping, and documentation.

Technical Skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Ability to learn new software systems and business applications.

Problem-Solving
Ability to identify issues, gather information, and determine appropriate solutions.
Strong follow-up skills and commitment to customer satisfaction.

Working Conditions

Physical Requirements
Extended periods of sitting and computer use.
Frequent telephone and electronic communication throughout the workday.
Minimal physical exertion required.

Work Environment
Professional office environment.
Routine daily workflow with regular interaction among customers and internal teams.
Ability to work effectively with individuals in a variety of situations, including resolving customer concerns.
Occasional participation in meetings, training sessions, or company-sponsored events may be required.
