Alameda Corpus Christi TX 78411 General Information Tell us about the unit(s): Number of Beds - 22 Number of Staff – 30 Type of staff: o Day Shift – 1 chg, 4 rn, 2 pca, 1 unit sec, 0-2 sitter o Night Shift – 4 rn, 1-2 pca, 0-2 sitter Patient Ratios – maximum 6:1 Type of equipment – standard EMR – meditech Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Acute med/surg experience 1 years within the last year Ability to care for 4-6 patients at a time Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. 2 years experience working Neuro Pt s CVA s, TIA s, AMS, Would prefer RN's w/neuro/neuro-surgery or ortho background preferred. Med/Surg/Telemetry background would suffice. List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Care of med/surg pt s Standard nursing skills: IV insertions, urinary catheter insertion/maintenance, central line maintenance; medication administration; communication with all members of care team; documentation in EHR, Continuous Bladder Irrigation, NGT insertion/maintenance, Best personality Fit: Friendly, positive, patient-centered, team-focused REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: RN BLS ACLS NIH Certification Floating Area(s): Med/surg units Weekends and On call(if any) #TB_RN Why TalentBurst?
