Industrial Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift

Maintenance TechnicianA Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing setting is responsible for ensuring the smooth and safe operation of all machinery and equipment within the facility. This includes performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing issues, and maintaining a safe working environment. They are essential for minimizing downtime and maximizing production efficiency.Duties/Responsibilities:Conducting regular inspections, maintenance, and lubrication of equipment to prevent breakdowns.Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues with manufacturing equipment.Assisting with the installation of new machinery and equipment.Ensuring all maintenance activities adhere to safety regulations and procedures.Maintaining detailed records of maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and parts replacements.Managing the inventory of spare parts and supplies for equipment maintenance.Training other employees on routine maintenance procedures and machine safety.The ability to quickly identify and resolve equipment malfunctions is crucial.PLCKnowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems is essential.Other duties as assigned.Required Skills/Abilities:Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong supervisory and leadership skills.Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.Education and Experience:High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of 3 years ManufacturingPhysical Requirements:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
