The Brookfield Public Schools are seeking passionate and motivated Paraeducators to join our team!
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist classroom teachers in supporting students' learning and development.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support for students with diverse learning needs.
- Help implement classroom activities, curriculum, and instruction.
- Monitor and manage student behavior to ensure a positive learning environment.
- Supporting students with physical, sensory, or behavioral needs in the classroom.
- Strong interest in working with students and making a positive impact in their educational journey.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team spirit.
- Patience, dedication, and a passion for education.
- At least 60 college credits or have taken and passed the ParaPro exam.
- Hands-On Experience: Get valuable, real-world experience working directly with students, teachers, and staff.
- Career Growth: Many of our Paraeducators have transitioned into full-time teaching roles within the district, thanks to their experience and connections built in this role.
- Supportive Environment: Our district values professional development, and as a Paraeducator, you'll receive ongoing training and guidance to help you succeed.
