Registered Dietician - Dining Services Manager

Responsibilities Nutrition Services Manager RD A desirable opportunity exists for a highly accomplished professional to assist in the managing of the community's Care Center Food and Beverage Operations to ensure a quality dining experience. This position works closely with community F&B staff to ensure sanitation and HACCP standards in compliance with local, state and federal regulations. Complete nutritional initial, quarterly, annual, and significant change reviews on residents according to federal and state guidelines. Review monthly and weekly weights to determine residents who have had a significant change. Complete nutritional reviews monthly on high risk residents (significant weight loss/gain, pressure ulcer, hemodialysis, and tube fed). Assess nutritional needs, diet restrictions and current health plans to develop and implement dietary care plans and provide nutritional counseling as needed. Consult with physicians and other health care personnel (Nurse Practitioners, Dialysis Dietitians, etc.) to determine diet restrictions and nutritional needs of residents. Qualifications Qualified applicants are required to possess a minimum of 3 years of clinical nutrition experience. State certification in food service sanitation is required. Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration, the credentialing agency for the American Dietetic Association, is required. Bachelor's Degree in nutrition from an accredited college or university is required. Knowledge of HACCP is preferred.
