Experienced Cabinet Maker / Custom Closet Installer

We are a custom cabinetry and closet company looking for an experienced Cabinet Maker / Custom Closet Installer to join our team.

We specialize in the fabrication and installation of custom closets, cabinets, kitchens, built-ins, shelving systems, and other custom cabinetry projects .

We are not necessarily looking for a master carpenter, but we do need someone with solid hands-on experience in cabinetry, woodworking, millwork, custom closets, kitchen cabinets, or a related field . The ideal candidate should be comfortable working both in a manufacturing shop and at residential installation sites.

Responsibilities

• Build and assemble custom closets, cabinets, kitchens, built-ins, shelving, and drawer systems
• Measure, cut, drill, and prepare cabinet components accurately
• Work with MDF, plywood, melamine, HDF, and similar panel materials
• Operate a table saw, edge banding machine, and line boring / hole boring machine
• Use drills, impact drivers, routers, sanders, clamps, and other woodworking tools
• Assemble cabinet boxes, shelves, drawer boxes, doors, and drawer fronts
• Install custom closets, cabinetry, kitchens, and built-ins at customer locations
• Install and adjust hinges, drawer slides, handles, hanging rods, shelves, and accessories
• Level and align cabinetry and make necessary field adjustments during installation
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Preferred Skills

We especially prefer candidates with experience in:

• Cabinet and closet manufacturing
• Kitchen cabinet fabrication and installation
• European-style / frameless cabinetry
• Edge banding and panel processing
• Drawer manufacturing
• Cabinet door and drawer-front alignment
• Soft-close hinges and drawer hardware

Experience building or assembling dovetail drawer boxes is highly preferred.

Experience with undermount soft-close drawer slides , including systems such as Blum or similar hardware, is also highly preferred. Candidates should ideally understand proper drawer-box clearances, installation of locking devices, slide positioning, and adjustment of drawer height, depth, and side-to-side alignment.

Qualifications

• Previous hands-on cabinetry, woodworking, millwork, closet, kitchen, or furniture manufacturing experience
• Ability to measure accurately and work with precise dimensions
• Comfortable operating woodworking machinery and power tools
• Strong attention to detail
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Able to troubleshoot common fabrication and installation issues
• Willing to learn our specific manufacturing methods and equipment
• Able to work professionally inside customers' homes

This is not an entry-level position , but we are also not requiring a master carpenter. We are looking for someone with enough practical experience to understand cabinet construction and installation and become productive quickly.

Candidates with experience in a cabinet shop, custom closet company, kitchen cabinet company, millwork shop, furniture shop, or woodworking shop are strongly encouraged to apply.
