Team members work closely with physicians and procedural staff while supporting patients throughout their procedure experience in a fast-paced, specialized setting.Collaborative Team Environment Focused on Exceptional Patient CareOpportunity to Assist with a Variety of Specialized Endoscopic Procedures40 Hours a Week | 8-Hour Day ShiftsHow you'll contributeA Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role:Provides direct patient care in the surgical setting using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needsIdentifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventionsProvides care appropriate to the condition and age of the patientPerforms timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical recordResponsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patientPerforms timely and accurate QI assessmentsWhat we're looking forApplicants should have a current state RN license. Bachelor's degree preferred but not required. Additional requirements include:Active North Carolina RN license (single-state) or compact required. If relocating, licensure must be updated to the new Primary State of Residence (PSOR) before employment begins.Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire.One to Two years of Endoscopy RN experience required.Why join usWe believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care.
