Human Services Program Specialist
DGS Office of External Affairs
The Human Services Program Specialist provides technical assistance to community organizations and medical entities on HIV prevention program development and implementation. The role includes conducting HIV/STD testing and counseling, coordinating with local facilities to screen high-risk populations, and serving as a liaison with the HIV Early Intervention Services program in Viera, Florida. Key qualifications: Associate's degree from an accredited university and 2 years experience with the HIV continuum of care Knowledge of STD/HIV/AIDS transmission, prevention, and risk reduction Skill in motivational interviewing and counseling Ability to conduct HIV testing including rapid tests and blood draws Basic computer skills including database and spreadsheet proficiency Preferred: Bilingual in English/Spanish #J-18808-Ljbffr
