Java Tech Lead - Digital Banking

Salary: $150,000 - 180,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree plus 8 years of technical experience in application development, server administration, information security, or engineering, or a high school diploma/GED plus 12 years of relevant technical experience.
• We prefer 8+ years of software engineering experience delivering enterprise-scale applications.
• We prefer at least 2 years in a technical lead, senior engineer, lead developer, or similar leadership capacity.

• Experience with GitHub, Azure DevOps, Kubernetes, Terraform, SonarQube, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, containerization, and cloud-native practices is preferred.
• Familiarity with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, and Karate is beneficial.

We are hiring a remote Technical Lead for our Personal & Business Banking Digital Engineering organization, with eligibility limited to AZ, NC, NJ, and TX. This is a hands-on engineering leadership role, not a people management position, for someone who enjoys building software, solving complex technical challenges, shaping architecture, and helping teams deliver secure, scalable, and resilient digital banking experiences. You will work closely with Product Owners, Engineering Managers, Architects, Scrum Teams, Quality Engineering, DevSecOps, and other Technical Leads. The base pay is generally between $150,000 and $180,000, with actual pay determined by skills, experience, location, and other lawful factors.
