Labor & Delivery - RN - Nights Shift

L&D Location: Chillicothe, Ohio Schedule: 7:00PM - 7:00AM x 3 Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension Pay Rate: $60 - $64/hr

Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a L&D for a temporary assignment in Chillicothe, Ohio. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.

Responsibilities for a L&D:

• Provide nursing care in a Level 2 Labor and Delivery unit for patients 32 weeks and above
• Triage patients upon arrival to the Labor and Delivery unit
• Circulate cesarean sections in collaboration with the surgical team
• Manage labor and delivery of patients collaboratively with physicians and midwives
• Complete patient recovery following vaginal and cesarean deliveries
• Work night shifts from 7pm to 7am, including weekdays
• Work every other weekend and holidays as required
• Maintain current RN licensure
• Maintain current NRP, BLS, and ACLS certifications
• Utilize EPIC charting system for documentation (preferred)
• Apply 5+ years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience (preferred)
• Reside outside a 60-mile radius of the facility
