Clinical Director

Company Description Hopewell Health Solutions, LLC is a multidisciplinary, women-owned team of psychologists, therapists, and wellness professionals dedicated to community wellness and practical, action-oriented education. A culturally diverse staff, including multiple Ph.D.- and master’s-level clinicians, collaborates to customize each project to client needs. All training materials are developed by Dr. Schlichting, PhD, and team, and delivered through interactive, multimedia formats that emphasize real-life application and immediate implementation. This approach supports impactful learning experiences and sustainable outcomes for individuals, organizations, and communities. This position is to primarly over see intensive outpatient ( IOP and PHP) programming in Westbrook. Role Description The Clinical Director is a full-time, on-site role based in Westbrook, CT, responsible for overseeing clinical services, supervising clinicians, and ensuring high standards of care across programs. this job does require some night time to 7 or 8 pm hours as many programs run at night. You must have great crisis management skills, organizational, and management skills. This role includes providing clinical leadership, developing and implementing evidence-informed treatment protocols, and supporting a multidisciplinary team of psychologists, therapists, and wellness professionals. The Clinical Director will conduct regular clinical supervision, review documentation for quality and compliance, note audits, hiring, and help manage caseload distribution and workflow. Daily responsibilities also include collaborating on program development, contributing to training content, and managing issues within the programs. The Clinical Director will work closely with organizational leadership to monitor outcomes, address clinical risk, and promote an inclusive, culturally responsive care environment. Qualifications Strong foundation in clinical disciplines such as Psychology, Mental Health, and Behavioral Health. Demonstrated experience in Clinical Supervision, including mentoring, case consultation, and supporting professional development. Background with IOP and PHP level of care and counseling. Broad base of experience with kids, adolescents, and adults. Advanced degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related behavioral health field; independent clinical licensure (e.g., PhD, PsyD, LCSW) in Connecticut or license eligibility. Proven experience in clinical leadership or program management within an outpatient, community, or organizational setting. Strong skills in clinical documentation, risk assessment, and adherence to ethical, legal, and regulatory standards. Commitment to culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and evidence-informed care, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work on-site in Westbrook, CT, with strong organizational skills and the capacity to balance administrative, supervisory, and clinical responsibilities.
