Job Details Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery Employment Type: Travel Nursing Schedule: 12-hour night shifts Hours: 36 hours per week Duration: 13 weeks Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,040-$2,150 Location: Brownwood, Texas 76801 Assignment Start: September 21, 2026 Setting: Level II Maternal Facility with Level II NICU support Registered Nurse Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse license in hand at time of submission Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery or related maternal care experience Current ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN certifications as applicable Strong experience with fetal monitoring and obstetrical assessment Experience with Allscripts charting preferred Ability to work independently in a self-scheduling environment Travel nursing experience preferred Responsibilities Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to laboring, antepartum, postpartum, and recovery patients Support vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and recovery care Monitor fetal heart rate patterns and respond appropriately to changes in patient status Perform patient assessments, medication administration, and IV management as needed Assist with triage, labor support, and patient education throughout the birth process Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe, coordinated maternal care Promote a positive patient experience through education, advocacy, and clinical excellence Apply now to join this Texas nursing job and make a difference in maternal care in Brownwood, TX.
