Within Thematic Investing, you'll join a team responsible for one of Schwab's most innovative client experiences, providing investors access to curated investment themes backed by Schwab research. As a Java Developer on the Thematic Core Services team, you will play a key role in designing and delivering scalable, high-performing applications and services that support business growth and exceptional client experiences.This role requires strong technical expertise, sound decision-making, and a passion for solving complex engineering challenges. You'll collaborate closely with architects, product teams, business partners, and fellow engineers to design, develop, test, and enhance modern microservices and API-driven solutions. Success in this role requires balancing technical excellence with collaboration, mentoring team members, optimizing application performance, and continuously improving development practices. Your contributions will directly influence the reliability, scalability, and evolution of Schwab's Thematic Investing platform.

What you have
