Rutland Regional Medical Center seeks an Infection Preventionist to lead system-wide infection prevention and control initiatives. This role conducts surveillance, analyzes infection data, and drives performance improvement to reduce healthcare-associated infections. The Infection Preventionist develops and updates policies, educates staff, and ensures compliance with CDC, OSHA, CMS, and Joint Commission standards. Working closely with clinical teams, including cardiology, this position supports a culture of patient safety, collaboration, and continuous learning in Vermont’s largest community hospital.
