Description – What Your Role Entails

• Interpret results with precision, address discrepancies, and perform preventive maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Support specimen collection efforts and prepare samples for testing as necessary.
• Document procedures in detail, mentor new staff or students, and help uphold stringent quality standards in the lab.
• Ensure a clean, safe workspace while complying with all regulatory and accreditation demands.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a comparable allied health qualification pending ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• Attain ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of employment.
• Maintain active certification throughout your employment.
