Your Role What You Will Be Responsible For

• Conduct routine and advanced laboratory analyses, spanning chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more, adhering to established protocols.
• Scrutinize test results for accuracy, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and carry out routine maintenance and calibration on lab equipment.
• Assist with the collection of specimens, preparing samples for comprehensive testing as required.
• Meticulously document all processes, participate in the training of new team members or students, and uphold high quality standards in the lab.
• Ensure the lab is a clean and safe environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health degree, in addition to preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications Needed

• ASCP or AMT Board certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be achieved within one year of hire.
• Maintain active certification throughout your employment.
