We are building a better way to access urban parking by bringing private parking inventory into the market and making it easier for people to find, book, and manage spaces. Our product operates at the intersection of software, marketplaces, and the physical world, which means the problems are often more interesting than they first appear. The Role We are hiring a Member of Technical Staff to join our small engineering team. This is a product-focused, full-stack role for someone who wants meaningful ownership in an early-stage company. You will help define problems, evaluate tradeoffs, build solutions, ship them, and improve them based on what happens in the real world. We are intentionally keeping the profile broad. The right candidate will have strong full-stack engineering fundamentals and meaningful depth in at least one of the following areas: Native or cross-platform mobile development Frontend engineering and product design Data systems or applied machine learning You do not need to be an expert in all three. We care more about your ability to contribute across the product, learn quickly, and bring a valuable complementary strength to the team. What You’ll Do Build and ship product experiences across frontend, backend, and mobile systems Own projects from problem definition through implementation, release, and iteration Work closely with engineering, operations, and company leadership Turn ambiguous requirements into practical technical plans Make thoughtful decisions about scope, architecture, and implementation Improve reliability, performance, testing, observability, and developer experience Debug issues that cross technical and real-world boundaries Review code and contribute to strong engineering practices Use AI-assisted development tools productively while remaining accountable for the final result Help shape how the engineering team works as the company grows Who You Are You have strong professional experience building and operating production software You are comfortable working across multiple layers of a product You have experience taking meaningful ownership beyond implementing assigned tickets You can turn unclear problems into concrete next steps You care about product and company outcomes, not only technical elegance You can explain technical tradeoffs clearly to engineers and non-engineers You are comfortable changing your mind when better evidence or ideas emerge You communicate directly, respectfully, and honestly You work well independently without disappearing into a problem You are willing to learn areas outside your current specialization You take responsibility for what happens after your code is deployed You value the best team decision more than being the person whose idea wins Your Area of Depth Strong candidates will bring meaningful experience in at least one of these areas.
