Your responsibilities will include:Repair and maintenance of field equipment, including trail markers and Skiway markers.Inventory management and supply ordering.Food inventory management.General maintenance and support tasks.Adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental protocols.Adapting to a flexible work schedule based on weather and operational needs.Qualifications:Minimum of three (3) years of documented experience working in a remote environment.Strong mechanical aptitude and excellent repair skills.Valid passport.Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.Ability to work independently and as part of a small, dedicated team.Work Schedule:This is a seasonal position requiring deployment to Summit Station, Greenland. Your schedule will be flexible based on weather and work requirements, with occasional additional hours as needed.Benefits:Competitive pay of $1,227 - $1,500 per week.Health and welfare benefit of $4.22/hour for the first 40 hours worked each week.An unparalleled opportunity to explore the Arctic and contribute to important scientific research.Job offers are contingent on the completion of a satisfactory background check and may include physical and dental examinations as required by the National Science Foundation.
