Data Modeler

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Data Modeler will design and govern data architecture for unstructured knowledge assets, translating raw content into secure data products within Databricks Unity Catalog. Key Responsibilities Design logical and physical data models for unstructured and semi-structured content originating from Knowledge Management pipelines Establish metadata standards and tagging taxonomies to ensure consistent classification across knowledge sources Collaborate with data engineers and stakeholders to align data product design with downstream consumption needs Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in data modeling, data architecture, or information architecture with exposure to unstructured or semi-structured data Hands-on experience with Databricks Unity Catalog Practical knowledge of metadata management, including tagging schemas and taxonomies Experience partnering with data engineering teams on ingestion and pipeline design Understanding of data security/sensitivity classification frameworks
