Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated warehouse worker to join our team as an onsite technician. This role involves working the 2nd shift from 2:30 pm to 11 pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with two Saturdays on and one Saturday off for the remainder of the year. During weeks when Saturday work is required, you will have an additional day off during the week, or if needed Monday through Saturday, you will be compensated accordingly.
Responsibilities

• Make waste and trash pickups throughout the customer's facility, handling materials such as cardboard, plastic, and metal scraps.
• Operate mobile equipment efficiently.
• Move and empty trash gondolas within the plant.

Essential Skills

• Experience in packing, production, picking, packaging, material handling, assembly, and shipping and receiving.
• Knowledge of hazardous material handling and HAZWOPER.
• Forklift operation (training provided if necessary).
• OSHA 40 training (provided if necessary).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Safety boots (steel-toe or composite) are required; all other necessary PPE will be provided.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lansing, MI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.50/hr.
