Human Resources Associate

A law firm in Manhattan is seeking a Human Resources Associate for a temporary to permanent opportunity. This role is ideal for a candidate with 1-4 years of experience in recruiting and human resources, preferably within a law firm or other professional services environment. Pay: $36-41/hr. Hours: 9am-5pm Hybrid schedule Mon-Thurs onsite, Fridays remote Responsibilities: Manage recruitment activities, including candidate sourcing, interviews, and onboarding processes. Provide support for employee benefits inquiries and resolve related concerns. Update and maintain HR policies and procedures to align with organizational standards. Coordinate team-building events and activities to enhance employee engagement. Collaborate with managers to address HR-related issues and provide solutions. Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations in all HR practices. Support hybrid work arrangements, balancing remote and on-site work effectively. Assist in the transition from temporary to permanent employment for eligible candidates. Requirements: Bachelor degree in Human Resources or related field required. Minimum 1 year of HR experience, with 4 years preferred. Experience in recruitment within professional services or staffing firms is highly desirable. Knowledge of employee benefits administration and HR policy updates. Strong organizational skills to coordinate team-building events and activities. Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment. Excellent communication skills for addressing employee inquiries and collaborating with teams.
