The duties include, but are not limited to: assisting physicians during clinic visits and patient examinations, answering and triaging patient phone calls, fulfilling physician verbal orders accurately and efficiently, completing and maintaining clinical paperwork and documentation, applying and removing casts and braces, preparing patients and exam rooms for in-office procedures, performing phlebotomy and collecting laboratory specimens as needed, coding diagnoses and assisting with clinical charting, providing patient education regarding treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care, maintaining cleanliness and organization of clinical areas, and assisting with other clinical duties as assigned.

Previous orthopedic experience is preferred, but not required. Strong communication and organizational skills, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, team-oriented attitude with a strong focus on patient care.

Pushing/pulling up to 350 lbs. Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping and reaching and occasional stress related to patient load.
