Technical Project ManagerJob#: 3055147Job Description:Senior Technical Project Manager (Cybersecurity)OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Project Manager to lead complex enterprise cybersecurity initiatives. This role is responsible for driving cross-functional programs from planning through execution, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to business and security objectives.The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in project and program management, working knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to coordinate technical teams and business partners in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead cybersecurity projects and programs by translating strategic priorities into actionable plans, milestones, deliverables, and measurable outcomes.Manage project scope, schedules, dependencies, resources, risks, issues, and communications across multiple workstreams.Coordinate execution across business stakeholders, technology teams, external vendors, and security partners.Facilitate Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies as appropriate.Drive accountability for project deliverables and proactively identify and resolve obstacles that impact delivery.Support initiatives related to vulnerability management, cloud security, infrastructure security, identity and access management (IAM), attack surface management, and cyber risk reduction.Partner with technical subject matter experts to define requirements, implementation plans, testing approaches, and deployment strategies.Develop and maintain project dashboards, executive reports, status updates, risk registers, and key performance metrics.Communicate complex technical and cybersecurity concepts clearly to executive and non-technical audiences.Support organizational adoption, change management, user readiness, and successful operational transitions.Coordinate activities with third-party technology providers and managed service partners.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Technology, Business, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.5+ years of experience managing complex enterprise technology, infrastructure, cybersecurity, or digital transformation projects.Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams across multiple workstreams and stakeholder groups.Experience managing project timelines, budgets, risks, dependencies, and vendor relationships.Working knowledge of:Cybersecurity operationsVulnerability and exposure managementCloud and infrastructure securityIdentity and Access Management (IAM)Cyber risk mitigation and remediationStrong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Asana, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, or related platforms.Preferred QualificationsPMP, PMI-ACP, Scrum Master, CISSP, Security+, or similar professional certifications.Experience building or implementing reporting dashboards, metrics programs, or data-driven operational improvements.Familiarity with established cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, or similar standards.Experience supporting enterprise-wide technology rollouts and change management initiatives across geographically distributed teams.What Success Looks LikeCybersecurity initiatives are delivered on schedule and aligned with business objectives.Risks, dependencies, and project issues are proactively managed and communicated.Technical and business teams remain aligned through clear governance and accountability.Leadership receives timely visibility into project progress, metrics, and decision points.Security programs achieve measurable improvements in organizational risk reduction and operational effectiveness.Everforth Apex is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
