About the Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated, well-connected Home Health Business Development & Community Liaison to help expand our presence throughout the Greater Houston area.

This is a 1099 independent-contractor, commission-only opportunity designed for an experienced healthcare marketer, community liaison, business development professional, or independent sales professional who is comfortable working independently and building relationships within the healthcare and senior-care communities.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, an established professional network, and the ability to identify and develop new business opportunities through community outreach, networking, education, and relationship management.

Compensation

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain professional relationships with healthcare professionals and community organizations throughout the Greater Houston area.

• Identify and cultivate new business-development opportunities.

• Introduce healthcare professionals, organizations, patients, and families to the company's home health services when appropriate.

• Conduct professional outreach to physicians, hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, senior living organizations, social workers, case managers, discharge planners, and other community partners.

• Schedule and conduct office visits, presentations, networking meetings, and community outreach activities.

• Educate community partners about the company's services, capabilities, and patient-centered approach.

• Maintain consistent follow-up with professional contacts and prospective business partners.

• Attend healthcare networking events, community events, professional meetings, and other business-development opportunities.

• Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospective business relationships.

• Document outreach activities, contacts, meetings, and business-development opportunities using the company's designated tracking system.

• Work collaboratively with the company's administrative and clinical teams to facilitate appropriate communication and coordination.

• Represent the company professionally and maintain a positive reputation within the Houston healthcare community.

• Follow all applicable federal and Texas laws, healthcare regulations, privacy requirements, and company compliance policies.

Ideal Candidate

We are especially interested in candidates who have:

• Existing relationships within the Houston healthcare or senior-care community.

• Previous experience in home health, hospice, healthcare marketing, medical sales, senior living, case management, or business development.

• Experience working with physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation facilities, assisted living communities, social workers, case managers, or discharge planners.

• Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• A professional and personable presentation style.

• Strong follow-up and organizational skills.

• The ability to work independently without direct day-to-day supervision.

• A results-oriented and entrepreneurial mindset.

• Reliable transportation and the ability to travel throughout the assigned territory.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of healthcare marketing, sales, community outreach, or business development experience.

• Existing professional network in the Greater Houston area.

• Previous home health or hospice marketing experience.

• Knowledge of healthcare referral and care-coordination processes.

• Experience with CRM, referral-tracking, or business-development software.

• Bilingual communication skills are a plus.
