About the Role:
One Shot Automation LLC is looking for a driven and detail-oriented Project Engineer – Automations to join our growing team in San Antonio, TX. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of industrial automation, delivering innovative solutions that make a real impact for our clients. Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement automated systems and solutions for client projects
Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables from concept through commissioning
Program and configure PLCs, HMIs, and other automation control systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, mechanical, and software engineers
Conduct site assessments, system testing, and troubleshooting during installation and startup
Prepare technical documentation, project reports, and as-built drawings
Serve as a primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering (or related field)
2+ years of experience in automation, controls engineering, or systems integration
Proficiency with PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or equivalent)
Experience with HMI/SCADA systems and industrial networking protocols
Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent communication and client-facing skills
Ability to travel to client sites locally and regionally as needed
