Role Description This is a full‑time, on‑site Project Estimator role based in the Kansas City Metropolitan Area. The Project Estimator will review project plans, specifications, and addenda to prepare accurate mechanical and plumbing construction estimates. Daily responsibilities include performing quantity takeoffs, obtaining and evaluating subcontractor and supplier quotes, and developing detailed cost breakdowns and proposals. The role involves working closely with project managers and field teams to clarify scopes, identify cost‑saving opportunities, and support project planning. The Project Estimator will also assist with budgeting, value engineering, and pre‑construction planning, while maintaining organized estimate documentation and participating in bid reviews and client meetings as needed. This role can expand and grow with experience into a PE/PM role as well. Qualifications Demonstrated skills in Construction Estimating and Project Estimation for mechanical and plumbing construction projects. Strong Cost Management and Budgeting abilities to develop, track, and refine project costs. Effective Communication skills for collaborating with internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients. Proficiency with estimating software and spreadsheets; ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical documents. Experience in mechanical contracting, construction, or a related field; prior estimating experience strongly preferred. Strong analytical, organizational, and time‑management skills with high attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work on‑site in the Kansas City Metropolitan Area and coordinate with office and field personnel. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred, or equivalent relevant experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr Pro-Mechanical, LLC
