You will work with the General Manager to guide the crew, keep operations running smoothly, and boost sales. Crew Chiefs receive training for a variety of roles and can advance within the company. This position offers leadership experience and opportunities to grow your skills and career. Key Responsibilities Work directly with the General Manager (GM) to ensure consistent revenue growth by increasing guest count and achieving core sales mix, MultiCare, and Core Plus metrics. Coach and execute excellent customer service, creating an exceptional guest experience. Lead by example and build team engagement and efficiency. Develop teammates using internal training programs and provide ongoing guidance, coaching, and direction. Ensure quality control measures and processes are followed consistently. Complete inventory, cash handling processes, and address guest issues and concerns. Collaborate with the District Manager (DM) on critical initiatives. Assist the GM with budgeting, sales forecasts, financial performance, and expense controls. Provide clear direction to the team. Maintain a clean, safe, and presentable service center per the Guide to Excellence (GTE). Guide and mentor automotive technicians and CSAs. Perform opening and closing duties when the GM is off. Help build and maintain an engaged workforce that reflects customer volume and business needs. Lead daily team huddles and store meetings. Set direction for achieving business goals. Manage inventory and product orders to meet business needs. Hold others accountable to rules and regulations that maintain a safe and productive work environment. Assist guests with questions and needs in person, electronically, or by telephone. Qualifications One to three years of retail management experience; professional automotive experience is not required. Exceptional oral and written communication skills. Proven leadership ability to inspire and motivate diverse teams. Sound business sense and comprehensive understanding of the retail industry. Analytical and financial acumen to recommend goals that increase sales and service results. Positive, helpful attitude and professional appearance at all times. Thrives in a fast‑paced, flexible, high‑performance retail environment. Guest‑first mindset. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Physical ability to stand on hard surfaces and lift up to 50 pounds. Flexible to handle hot and cold temperatures, loud noises, and exhaust fumes. At least 18 years old, legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
