Key Responsibilities
Shipping
- Verify goods against shipping documents
- Pack and label shipments per specifications
- Prepare bills of lading and record weights/charges
- Load shipments and maintain supply inventory
- Maintain inbound/outbound freight logs
- Unpack and label incoming goods
- Verify shipments against bills of lading/packing slips
- Record received, damaged, or misdirected items
- Route materials to storage
- Pick orders using a barcode scanner
- Maintain clean and safe work areas
- Assist with inventory cycle counts
- Move materials to stocking locations
- Fill will-call orders
- High school diploma or GED
- Warehouse or inventory experience
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to read, write, and understand English
- Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and barcode scanners
