Project Manager

Location: Southeast US / Flexible Travel: Approximately 50% Employment Type: Full-time About the Opportunity ReKinect is partnered with a growing Independent Power Producer (IPP) that is continuing to expand its utility-scale renewable energy portfolio across the United States. The business has established itself as a strong player within the renewable energy market and is entering an exciting period of continued growth. With a growing pipeline of projects and an increasing presence across the US, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to join at the right stage of the company's development. We are looking for strong project management leaders with substation experience who can take ownership of projects through execution and work effectively across development, engineering, procurement, EPC contractors, utilities and other key stakeholders. The Role As a Project Manager / Senior Project Manager, you will take responsibility for the successful delivery of utility-scale renewable energy projects from execution through completion. You will work closely with internal teams, EPC contractors, engineering partners, utilities and other project stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget and to the required quality standards. Responsibilities will include: Lead project execution from notice to proceed through construction, commissioning and commercial operation. Manage EPC contractors and key project partners throughout execution. Own project schedules, budgets, milestones and overall delivery. Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning activities. Manage relationships with utilities, contractors, consultants and other external stakeholders. Identify and manage project risks, issues and opportunities. Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication across internal and external teams. Monitor project progress against schedule and budget. Support commercial negotiations, change management and contract administration. Oversee quality, safety and compliance throughout project execution. Coordinate substation and electrical infrastructure activities as they relate to project delivery. Support successful energisation, commissioning and handover of projects. Provide clear reporting to senior leadership. What We're Looking For We are interested in speaking with experienced project leaders who can demonstrate: Proven project management experience within renewable energy, utilities, EPC or electrical infrastructure. Experience managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders. Strong understanding of project schedules, budgets, contracts and risk management. Experience managing EPC contractors and subcontractors. Strong commercial and contractual awareness. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to operate independently while working collaboratively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams. Willingness to travel approximately 50% as required by project delivery. Interested?
