• Position Type: Contract
• Contract Duration: 5 months (13 weeks also accepted at this time)
• Pay Rate: $77.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Day/Night rotating shift - 7:00 AM-7:30 PM / 7:00 PM-7:30 AM (3×12 Hours). Shifts may be variable if needed to meet the operational needs of the hospital. The facility will do their best to honor the traveler's preferred shift but reserves the right to rotate if necessary.
• Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Job Summary

This is a Med/Surg Tele RN travel position at the Main Campus Hospital, with potential to float to units J1-2, J33, and ED to care for the same patient population. The assignment provides winter coverage for 20 weeks; 13-week assignments are also accepted at this time. One year of recent oncology/chemotherapy administration experience is preferred but not required. Experienced oncology nurses are encouraged to apply, as training will be provided to qualified candidates interested in administering chemotherapy.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care on the Med/Surg Tele unit at the Main Campus Hospital.
• Float to units J1-2, J33, and ED as needed to care for the same patient population.
• Administer chemotherapy (training provided to qualified candidates interested in this area).
• Work at least every other holiday.
• Complete ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessments during orientation; an acceptable score on both is required.

Required Skills

• Minimum 18 months combined permanent experience in the specialty applying for (preferable within one location but may be combined).
• Minimum 18 months of recent MS/Tele experience (travel experience will suffice).
• Must work at least every other holiday.

Preferred Skills

• One year of recent oncology/chemotherapy administration experience preferred.

Education Requirements

• Ohio RN License or Compact State License required - must be in hand at time of submission.
• AHA or client BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• NIHSS certification required.

Work Environment / Physical Requirements
