About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its rapidly growing construction business. The CFO will play a pivotal leadership role, directly reporting to the CEO, and will be responsible for bringing structure, rigor, and strategic financial oversight to support the company's continued expansion. This includes leading and developing the finance function, overseeing all accounting, reporting, and financial planning activities, driving improvements in financial systems, and partnering with the CEO and senior leadership to support commercial decision-making. The successful candidate will also be tasked with managing cash flow, forecasting, and working capital, as well as supporting bonding requirements and relationships with external stakeholders. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree, with a CPA being ideal but not essential. A proven track record in a CFO or senior finance leadership role within the construction or contracting sector is essential, as is strong technical accounting expertise and experience in improving and stabilizing finance functions in high-growth or evolving environments. The role requires a confident, resilient, and decisive individual who can challenge and influence senior stakeholders, and who is comfortable working in a dynamic setting that demands adaptability and ownership. Strong systems experience is also necessary, with exposure to construction accounting platforms being advantageous.
