Lead Mobile Phlebotomist

Job Overview Phlebotomist – Shift: M‑F 5:00 PM – 1:30 AM. Rate: $22–$25 per hour. Responsibilities Keep apprised of AM facility clearance, including service, UTO’s, same‑day refusals, ammonias, etc. Develop good rapport with dispatch for clear communication. Train new phlebotomists when no trainers are designated for the area. Attend facility start‑up in‑service with APS (time appropriate). Conduct quarterly trunk checks. Account for all route sheets daily (previous day or days if Monday). Stay up‑to‑date on mileage entry in Datarrive. Make changes in Datarrive daily for next‑day assignments. Assist APS in ordering supplies and closing orders, if no other designee. Assist APS in collecting centrifuge logs and placing them in binders, if no other designee. Assist APS with butterfly logs/usage, if no other designee. Work cooperatively with all departments: Laboratory Dispatch, Courier Dispatch, Couriers, Accessioning, Customer Service, and Data Entry.
