We are seeking a talented Associate Designer to join our team on a contract basis. Position Overview: The Associate Designer will support the design team throughout all phases of the design process- from concept development through installation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, technically proficient, and able to balance creativity with accuracy. This role requires someone who learns quickly, communicates professionally, and enjoys contributing to a collaborative team environment. Responsibilities: Create accurate construction drawings, floor plans, elevations, and detailed design documentation using AutoCAD or Revit. Develop finish plans, furniture layouts, and fixture schedules. Understand and interpret architectural drawings, dimensions, specifications, and field measurements. Conduct on-site measurements and assist with project installations. Research products, materials, furnishings, fixtures, and finishes. Source furnishings, accessories, lighting, and plumbing fixtures that align with project goals. Assist in preparing client presentations using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and InDesign experience is a plus). Prepare product specifications and assist with pricing and client proposals in Studio Designer. Coordinate with vendors, manufacturers, contractors, and project partners. Support the design team with project documentation, organization, and scheduling. Maintain project accuracy while managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture. 2-4 years of professional interior design experience, preferably in luxury residential or hospitality design. Strong proficiency in AutoCAD or Revit (required). Excellent drafting skills and understanding of construction documentation. Ability to read and create floor plans, elevations, and technical drawings. Strong understanding of measurements, space planning, and design specifications. Experience with SketchUp and Adobe Photoshop/InDesign is preferred. Experience with Studio Designer is a plus. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Professional demeanor and client-focused attitude. Self-motivated, proactive, and a quick learner with the ability to adapt to new processes and technologies.
