About this role
An established Pennsylvania/New Jersey defense firm is adding an insurance defense attorney to its North Jersey practice. You will run your own litigation caseload with real autonomy, in a firm that values entrepreneurial, client-focused attorneys who want a long-term career with mentorship, flexibility and professional development.
What you will do
- Independently manage a litigation caseload of New Jersey automobile matters (PIP, UM/UIM, verbal threshold, motor vehicle liability) for carriers and insureds
- Handle pleadings, discovery, motion practice, depositions, arbitrations and trial preparation
- Communicate directly with carriers, adjusters and insureds
What we are looking for
- New Jersey bar admission (active); Pennsylvania bar a plus
- 5–10 years of insurance defense experience
- New Jersey automobile litigation experience
- Ability to independently manage a litigation caseload
Compensation: $135,000–$165,000, depending on experience.
Based in the Jersey City office, with a flexible in-office schedule.
