Group Leader, Manufacturing (3rd Shift)

Job Summary Salary Range: $21.00 to $23.00 per hour, dependent upon education and experience. Hours: 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM Eastern Role Overview The Manufacturing Group Leader offers primary support for the Production Supervisor, assisting in all daily operations of a functional department without direct supervision on the shift. The position is responsible for production troubleshooting and reprocessing, training employees, allocating resources, scheduling shift activity, and ensuring cGMP compliance in operation. Responsibilities Assist in coordinating all aspects of department operations including schedule changes, quality issues, distribution of resources, and break schedules. Review device history records and production documentation for accuracy and completeness. Ensure all employees follow safety, cGMP, and department policies and procedures; communicate issues or non‑compliance to the supervisor when necessary. Effectively communicate with the supervisor regarding personnel, equipment schedule/component problems, safety issues, and short‑term goals or priorities. Handle employee training questions, conflicts, and concerns; consult the supervisor when necessary. Interface with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Warehouse, Facilities, and other production departments to resolve operational issues and maximize employee output. Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment to minimize defects or errors. Assist in preparing work orders and change controls as needed to maintain proper working conditions. Assist in training employees on departmental procedures, equipment set‑up, operation, and troubleshooting techniques. Assist in executing training plans for new and current hires to enable practical advancement in necessary skills. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements High School Diploma or GED Certificate. Electro‑mechanical assembly and test experience preferred. Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal skills, and professionalism. Excellent communication and training skills; basic mechanical aptitude. Proven sound judgment, value‑driven, continuous innovation and improvement, and adaptability. High‑performance and detail‑orientation. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Good organization and teamwork skills, including strong customer focus.
