Job Summary The Operations and Safety Department is currently seeking a Temporary Maintenance Support Worker to join their team of professionals. Duties Include Performs maintenance related duties such as pressure cleaning of garage and lots. Operates the different types of cleaning equipment including boom for pressure cleaning and other equipment needed for cleaning project. Provides support during special events to ensure proper signage placement on campus such as placing barricades, VMS boards, and light towers as needed. Performs essential duties during any emergencies, such as hurricanes, storms and/or any other University closing. Is expected to be available to work as needed during university emergency closing with appropriate notification by department administration. Performs other related duties as required or as directed by Administration. Weekend and weeknight availability. Assists in the upkeep and cleaning of department fleet. Operate/Drive department vehicles such as trucks, vans, and golf carts. Travel between campuses (BBC & EC) as needed for maintenance operations. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Desired Qualifications Driver License. Completion of 8th grade.
