We are looking for Assistant Managers who take pride in their work, lead with positivity, and set the standard for exceptional customer service. This role is ideal for someone ready to step into leadership, support store management, and help drive a high-performing, culture-driven restaurant.

As an Assistant Store Manager, you are responsible for supporting the team and leading the restaurant during your shifts. This includes:

• Coaching and motivating team members to deliver outstanding customer service

• Producing food that meets Jersey Mike’s high quality and consistency standards

• Delivering the complete Jersey Mike’s guest experience

• Leading by example with professionalism, urgency, and integrity

• Managing cash handling and key-holder responsibilities

• Opening and closing the restaurant

• Enforcing policies, procedures, and food safety standards

• Maintaining a restaurant that is noticeably cleaner than others

• Leading and managing a crew of team members

• Participating in local and national marketing initiatives

• Helping build sales through execution, service, and teamwork

• Developing team members for future growth and advancement

• Completing and following the Learning Management System (LMS) training program

• Communicating effectively with the GM and the team

• Operating with a strong sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment

• A positive, energetic leader who enjoys working with people

• Someone who leads by example—on food quality, cleanliness, and attitude

• Strong communication and accountability skills

• Ability to multitask and stay focused under pressure

• Commitment to integrity, teamwork, and personal growth

• Pride in wearing a clean, fitted, and professional uniform every shift

• Ability to lift or move up to 50 lbs (reasonable accommodations available per ADA)

• Reliable transportation to and from work

• $16.00–$17.00 per hour + tips

  (average tips add $3–$5/hour)

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Must be 18 years or older to operate slicer

• ServSafe / Food Handler certification (or willingness to obtain)

• Willingness to learn, then coach!
